User Interface

After USB Redirector program start you can see the following window:

In the main program window you can see two tabs: "Local USB Devices available for Sharing" and "Remote USB Device available for Connect"

In the first tab "Local USB Devices available for Sharing" you can see all USB devices that are physically plugged into your computer and can be shared over local network or Internet. Each USB device has its own status. It determines what operations you can carry out with this device. For detailed information please see USB Device Statuses help section. To work with the device you can use the proper Menu Items or buttons on the Toolbar. Each USB device has its name depending on the device model. In this window you can see USB device description in the format: Windows specific USB description: Vendor Device Description. More detailed information about chosen USB device you can get opening Properties window of this device. If USB device is unknown for Windows you will see Vendor Device Description only. In this case USB device Status icon is depicted like yellow question-mark Share USB Device. For detailed information please see USB Device Sharing without USB Device Driver Software Installing help section. Also in this window you can see the list of remote computers that connected to your PC to connect shared devices. USB Redirector defines remote computer host name and IP address. You can ALWAYS control which remote computer connected your shared USB devices.

In the second tab "Remote USB Device available for Connect" you can see the list of remote computers to what you are currently connected or trying to connect. Each remote computer has its own status and properties. For detailed information please see USB Servers Statuses help section. If connection to the remote computer was successful you can see the list of shared USB devices that are available (or not available at the moment) for connecting. Each USB device depicted in this window has its own status It determines what operations you can carry out with this device. For detailed information please see USB Device Statuses help section. To work with the device you can use the proper Menu Items or buttons on the ToolBar. In this window each device has its own description that is totally corresponding to the device description on the computer where it is physically plugged in and shared..
