Administrator privileges are required to install or uninstall Scan Redirector RDP Edition
Both Server and Workstation parts must be installed on the corresponding systems for the product to work correctly. Please refer to the Scan Redirector RDP Edition (Workstation Part) User Manual for instructions on how to install the workstation part.
1) Download the latest Scan Redirector RDP Edition version from this page https://www.incentivespro.com/downloads.html.
2) Extract the installer EXE files from the downloaded ZIP archive.
3) Run the scan-redirector-rdp-server.exe on a remote server machine with administrative privileges.
4) Read and accept the End User License Agreement. Follow the further installer instruction to finish the process.
Go to the Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs and find there Scan Redirector RDP Edition (Server Part). Select the application and click Remove button.
Alternatively, you can go to Windows Start menu, find there the Scan Redirector RDP Edition (Server Part) folder and run the Uninstall Scan Redirector RDP Edition (Server Part) shortcut.
You may get the "Could not open or load twain_32.dll" error during the first application launch. To solve this problem you have to install the "Desktop Experience" Feature in Windows Server 2008. Follow these steps:
1) Go to "Start -> Administrative Tools -> Server Manager".
2) "Server Manager" window will appear. Scroll down until you see "Features Summary -> Add Features". Click on "Add Features".
3) "Add Features wizard" windows will appear. Find "Desktop Experience" and check it. Click on "Next".
4) Click on "Install" to confirm "Desktop Experience Feature" installation.
5) Restart your computer to finish the installation process.
