How to Set up Citrix Connection

To use Citrix ICA connection you have to install one of the client applications, called Citrix Receiver or Citrix Workspace. Download it from a Citrix website and install on your local PC, where the scanner is connected. If you've installed the Citrix client after the Scan Redirector RDP Edition had been installed, run "Install Citrix support" shortcut from the Scan Redirector RDP Edition program folder in the Windows Start menu. Run the Citrix client and connect to your remote Citrix session, according to the Citrix client user guide.

 

After successful connection to the remote server, make sure that these two conditions are met:

 

1) Scan Redirector RDP Edition tray icon is presented in the remote session system tray:

2) The drop down menu of a system tray icon contains the actual list of the scanners, connected to your local computer (PC, laptop):
