The following terminology is used throughout this manual, please note these terms because they are important for proper understanding:
•"USB server" or "Workstation" means a computer where USB devices are physically attached to USB port (e.g. laptop, thin-client, etc.). This computer also acts as RDP client.
•"USB client" or "Server" means a computer where USB devices are redirected to (e.g. terminal server, virtual machine, etc.). This computer also acts as RDP server.
•"To share a USB device" means making a USB device available for redirection. When you share a USB device on workstation, USB Redirector RDP Edition acquires it and prepares for redirection into remote session. When device is shared, it is not available for local use on workstation.
