The following terminology is used throughout this manual, please note these terms because they are important for proper understanding:
•"USB Server" means a computer where USB devices are physically attached to USB port (e.g. local workstation, laptop, thin-client, etc.)
•"USB Client" means a computer where USB devices are redirected to (e.g. terminal server, virtual machine, remote workstation, etc.)
•"To share a USB device" means making a USB device available for redirection. When you share a device on USB server, USB Redirector acquires it and prepares for redirection to USB client. When device is shared, it is not available for local use on USB server.
