Updates Policy
Minor version updates for all our products (e.g. from version 3.0 to version 3.2, 3.3 and so on) are free. Major version updates (e.g. from version 3 to version 4) are payable with discount. We guarantee that each customer will get at least one free update. This means that if there were no minor version updates since your purchase and new major version comes out, you will get a free major version update.
Updates from previous major version cost only 30% of the current license price. Updates from older versions cost 50% of the current price.
If you already own a license for one of the previous major versions and wish to update to the latest one, please use online form to request an update.

Scan Redirector RDP Edition Licensing
Scan Redirector RDP Edition consists of two parts: Server part and Workstation part. Only the Server part must be licensed, while Workstation part is free and can be used on any number of workstations.
You need a license for each virtual machine, terminal server or PC where you are going to install the Server part of the program.
The number of clients in a license shows how many users will be able to scan at the same time. This mostly applies to terminal servers, so if you are not going to install Scan Redirector on terminal server, you can use a license with 1 client.
